Death and Mortality Book Group: "Let's Talk About Death Over Dinner"

Saturday, June 1, 2024
12:00 pm1:00 pm

As part of King County Library System's year-long educational series, "Death, an Online Education Series", this online book group explores books that cover death, grief, and deathcare. For many, these subjects remain deeply taboo, but we know people have natural curiosity about life's greatest enduring mystery: what happens at its end.

For our third meeting, PMA Communications Manager Beverly Tryk has teamed up with the Executive Director of People's Memorial Association, Casey Husseman, to discuss Michael Hebb's "Let's Talk About Death Over Dinner."

From the comfort of your own home, join us on June 1st for what promises to be a fascinating conversation... and bring your questions! You can reserve a copy of the book at your local library, or get the e-book through the Libby app! Register ahead of time to make sure you save your spot and get a peek at some of the discussion questions we plan to tackle with your help.

Reach out to access@kcls.org if you have accommodation requests, or to our KCLS host, Beatriz Esparragoza, if you've got questions.
