Since 1939, PMA has been the thought-leader for funeral choice, education, and advocacy in Washington State. There are currently over 72,000 living members in Washington State, and we have served well over 220,000 families. Learn more about our organizational values here.

As a membership organization, PMA provides its members with simple options, lower prices, and no sales pressure at our partner funeral homes. A one-time membership fee of $99 connects you to over 30 contracted funeral homes across Washington State, where you are guaranteed a 15% discount on services and merchandise. In addition to funeral homes, PMA is contracted with a number of other end-of-life service providers, like cemeteries, a monument company, urn providers, pet funeral homes, and a virtual memorial service company. PMA is over 90% funded by membership sales and individual donations. We truly can't do the work we do without support from the public. And our independence keeps us from being beholden to funeral industry businesses. Our owners are YOU.
