Youth & Family: Grief in the Holidays Hosted by Safe Crossings
RSVP by Nov. 10th! Join Safe Crossings on Saturday, November 14th, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Riverfront Technical Park in Tukwila, WA, for their annual Grief in the Holidays event. This gathering is designed for families with youth (ages 4-18) grieving the death of someone significant. Families should plan to attend together, as programming will be available for both youth and adult caregivers. It is required that at least one caregiver attend and participate in the event with their child(ren).
Event Schedule:
The program will kick off with a pizza lunch for everyone to enjoy. Following lunch, participants will split into smaller groups based on age. In small groups, participants will be invited to create something in honor of their person and their grief. There will be opportunities for sharing. As with all Safe Crossings events, sharing is always optional. All will join back together at the end for a closing ritual.
