Ducks in a Row: Funeral Options, Mercer Island
On Monday October 13th at Noon, join People's Memorial Association's Communications Director Rachel LeBlanc for a presentation regarding your legal funeral options in Washington state. She'll be discussing the four options -- cremation, burial (green and traditional), alkaline hydrolysis ("aquamation"), and natural organic reduction ("human composting") as well as how you can put into writing your wishes to make arrangements easier on surviving loved ones. Organ, tissue, and body donation will also be briefly discussed, plus other considerations to take as you plan for your future death care.

Join us in person at Mercer Island Community and Events Center or online via Zoom. This event is free and open to the public. We encourage attendance at all three parts, but it is not required.
