Ducks in a Row: Funeral Options 2.0 (Chinese)

This is the second part of a three-part workshop series, Ducks in a Row. Join us in-person at the Chinese Information Service Center (CISC) for one or all three of the classes! This event is free and open to the public, and will be interpreted live into Mandarin and Cantonese in partnership with the Seattle Public Library and the Dept of Neighborhoods. Seating is limited, so registration is required. Call Elaine Liang at 206.530.9174 to RSVP.

Do you know what your funeral options are in Washington State and what they cost? Have you ever wondered about green burial options? This presentation will equip you with the information to select funeral arrangements that fit your unique values and resources. We will explain cremation, burial (conventional and green/natural), alkaline hydrolysis (aka aquamation/water cremation), natural organic reduction (aka terramation/human composting), and full body donation.

Join us for a look behind the funeral industry curtain to learn how to navigate this difficult process and save yourself time and money. Rachel LeBlanc from People's Memorial Association will present on your options for care in Washington State, the decisions that need to be made when planning a funeral, and the paperwork needed to help get you the care you want.
