Kelly Froh, Development Director

Kelly was born in Sheboygan, WI and graduated from Emily Carr University of Art & Design with a BFA in Fine Arts. Living in Seattle since 1994, in 2011 she co-founded Short Run Comix & Arts Festival, an annual comic book fest that showcases over 250 artists and attracts 4,000 people. Along with alternative comics, she has a background in marketing at several of Seattle's retirement communities, teaching free art classes to seniors, and also cares for two older adults with household help and companionship.

Caring for her older adult clients over the past decade has taught Kelly a lot about the systems in place around aging, health, and dying. Aiming to work on the side of good when it comes to these outdated and inadequate systems, she found her way to PMA. Kelly has been very successful writing grants and fundraising for her small nonprofit and she brings that enthusiasm, knowledge, and experience to us.
