Seattle: Ducks in a Row -- Funeral Options (Vietnamese) (Closed: ACRS Members Only)

The second part of a three-part workshop series, Ducks in a Row. Join us in-person at Asian Counseling & Referral Service for one or all three of the classes! This event is free and open to the ACRS members, and will be presented in English with live interpretation in Vietnamese in partnership with the Seattle Public Library.

Have you made your end of life plans? When it comes to choosing funeral options, here in Washington State we have more available to us than cremation or burial. Selecting funeral arrangements is unique to everyone, based on their values, resources, and budget.

Please join us for an in-depth presentation lead by Rachel LeBlanc from People's Memorial Association, who will discuss the five legal options: cremation, burial (conventional and green/natural), alkaline hydrolysis (aquamation/water cremation), natural organic reduction (terramation/human composting), and full body donation.

Find clarity on what's right for you with information about factors to consider and average costs, as well as necessary paperwork.

This event is for ACRS members and their guests only.
