Forever the defender of the strange and overlooked – moving earthworms off the sidewalk, tending to a backyard cemetery for “what the cat dragged in”– Percy has always been drawn to the sacredness of death.
In all aspects of her life, Percy feels a great sense of dedication to service. Her love for humanity and desire to leave a space better than she found it, is something that has been with her all of her life, and therefore only feels right to describe it as a calling.
An interest in deathcare came at a young age, but it never felt like something she could actually do. There was a certain level of “permission” she felt he needed in order to make this change. A friend told her about the job opening– further evidence that community care changes lives – and she started her career with PMA in November of 2025.
