Death Doula 2: Practical Skills for a Companion
This course is designed to help support those who wish to broaden their existing health care practices to include practical end-of-life care skills. We offer (re)training in the physical and emotional care of the dying and the surviving family and friends. Included are intersecting archetypes, how to honor traditional offerings, burial presentations, learning how to walk through an Advanced Directive, care supplies to have on hand, participate in a Virtual Living Funeral Ceremony, bodycare, discussions on how medical and environmental racism affects people live and die, dominant cultural norms, implicit bias, and creation of a community offering!
