Green Funerals Week: Green Burial

Tuesday, October 20, 2020
12:00 pm1:00 pm

What we now call “green burial” was standard practice through much of human history. Families and their faith communities cared for their own dead, the process of which formed an essential part of the grief journey. The deceased were placed in simple wood caskets or often in natural-fiber shrouds, then directly into the soil.

Join us for a presentation by Brian Flowers, Storyteller and Managing Funeral Director at Moles Farewell Tributes and Cremation, as we look back at where we’ve come from to what options are available now for families looking to connect back to Mother Earth in death.

This class series is sponsored by GatheringUs.
