Carrie Andrews, Member-at-Large

Carrie Andrews has served on the PMA board since 2020, volunteering on the Contracts and the Governance committees, and stepping into the Secretary position in 2024. Living in Port Townsend on the Olympic Peninsula, Carrie brings a rural consideration to the board.

Carrie was drawn to serving People’s Memorial Organization through her end-of-life work. She has a private practice, Peace of Mind, working as a Board Certified Patient Advocate and Advance Care Planner. She attends appointments with and helps navigate medical diagnoses for individuals in need of support, and offers consultations and classes in all different aspects of end-of-life planning. Carrie has recently been hired as the Membership & Chapter Development Director for the international Threshold Choir organization. Founded in 2000, the mission of Threshold Choir is to sing for those at the thresholds of life; there are currently almost 300 chapters around the world.

In her free time, Carrie enjoys being outdoors— gardening, hiking, and camping with her husband.
